What are we talking about? It is a business simulation in a form of a board game, where you are divided into the teams to manage a business. The goal is to run the company in such a way as to generate the highest retained earnings over time. The simulation is interpersed with inputs from facilitator and your debriefs to reflect on performance of your Company and soak up the learning before applying the new skills to the next business cycle.
What the experience will look like? In a time pressured, highly-engaging business environment you will take every decision the business owner would make: how to price the products, which markets and contracts to compete for, how much stock to buy, how to finance investments, how to pay suppliers and so on. You will experience real operational pressures and will witness the financial impact of your decisions on business and operational processes.
You will learn: how a business works from understanding profit, the importance of cash flow and payment terms, relevance of a business plan, budgets and cash flow forecasts, familiar and confident use of financial statements.
It will take: one day, but also could be designed to two days based on your needs.
You are: all front-line employees, team leaders, supervisors, managers, small and medium sized business owners.
What are we talking about? It is another board based business simulation, which goes deeper into how a company works with a purpose of making the learning of strategic planning, marketing and financial concepts as easy and enjoyable as possible. We will target to outperform the competitors by creating more value than them, while maintaining cash flow. In between each competitive round, you will receive teaching input on the following topics including immediate application exercises to reinforce the learning.
What the experience will look like? As a part of the management team you will buy and sell products, hire employees, make capital investments, take out loans, research the competition and make decisions based on their position in the marketplace.
You will learn: how each business decision has a financial consequence, how to interpret the financial statements and to enjoy doing so, the importance of budgeting, cash flow forecasting and profit margin analysis, key measures and value drivers of the business including cash, profit, ratio analysis, cost of capital and shareholder value.
It will take: two days (but also can be flexed to suit your needs).
You are: anyone who needs to understand the financial impact of your decisions.
What the experience will look like? We will simulate a business environment that mimics the key decisions leaders must face every day. You will lead a team of people in a highly-challenging, true-to-life business scenario. You will compete in a new and complex industry to achieve maximum profit and customer satisfaction while maintaining total employee engagement.
This pressured environment will ensure that your natural leadership strengths and weaknesses are revealed.
Learning outcomes will include: best practice – having seen others lead, and learning from personal experience; Self-awareness – a deep understanding of your leadership style, areas that need to be worked on, and knowledge of how others respond to your leadership approach; IDP - individual development plan for leveraging your strengths within the business; Leadership toolkit – a set of tools and techniques to use on-the-job, including giving constructive feedback and a unique goal-tracking app to keep them on track.
It will take: 1-3 days. Also it can be woven into your leadership academy or conference programme.

Experience for me consists of opportunities to work hard, succeed, learn from the mistakes and to come back again stronger. And it is also the best learning I have had. My primary background is in Finance and Control with last 11 years spent as a CFO for the international business.
My first acquaintance with Experiential Learning happened 15 years ago with lasting and involving impact: 10 years after I came back certified as a trainer to lead numerous workshops in Baltic States and Poland and to support few in Switzerland and UK.
The core of G-learning? The question is - can you master you swimming skills without contacting the water? Or can you improve them a lot through PowerPoint? That is what is all about! Whatever the subject is, there is a way to approach it smartly and to come back winning over it in excitement. Whether you are a good “swimmer” or the beginner, we will do our best to help you!
